Dear Family & Friends,
Season’s Greetings once again from sunny Florida! We wanted to take a moment to say that we appreciate the friendship, love, and support we receive from those of you near us — and those across the miles. We hope this note finds you well, happy, and enjoying the holiday season!
The photo on the left is from our trip to London last year in December for Christmastime. London is very magical during the holidays and one I hope we can enjoy many more times!
The year has brought us many changes as we decided it was time to sell our home and figure out the next chapter of our lives. We have lived in Vanderbilt Lakes in Bonita Springs for 22 years with the last 20 years being in the same beautiful lakefront home. Who knew two people could fill up a 2,400 sqft home, plus have 3 storage units to boot? Nick's Christmas decorations and theme design sets take up a lot of space, then there is just 22 years of "stuff". I had been dreading moving everything for years ... yes, it was worse than I anticipated. LOL!
We are now renting a new single family home in Bonita Springs, East of I-75, with great amenities. Although we miss our old neighbors tremendously, the new place is giving us freedom to think about what the future holds and where we want to be for it.
Where does time go? Nick and I celebrated 22 years together in November! Elphie, our beautiful golden retriever, turned 12 in November as well. We are so happy she is happy and healthy and still has spurts of puppy energy! Her hobbies are food, food, and food and lots of sleeping out of boredom.
Nick and I were able to travel in June to visit my family. My brother Chris and sister-in-law Linda hosted us all at their lake home in Hillsdale. My sister Lisa, Michelle, and golden doodle Stuart were able to join in the fun as they flew in from their home in Utah. A great time was had by all. The temperatures were still in the 50s, but such a welcomed relief from the Florida heat for Nick and me.
From a business perspective, I continue selling real estate with the best firm in Naples - Nardi Realty. Robert is an amazing broker and has built the best team to be a part of. It is a crazy market still to navigate, but if you are thinking of buying or selling here, give me a holler and I'll help you through it.
Nick is extremely busy working in healthcare as an x-ray technician in multiple locations. It's long hours and many days without a break ... and season is just getting into full swing.
We wish our families and friends a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a New Year filled with great health, wisdom, prosperity, hope, kindness, and of course … peace and love!
