About Don
Originally from the Detroit area, Don moved to Miami Beach in 1995 and then to Southwest Florida in 2001. Here, he became the first associate to join Nardi Realty when Robert opened the brokerage in 2007.
In addition to being licensed since 2003, Don is a certified Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS), trained in buying, selling, and management of properties for investment, retirement, or second home in resort destinations such as Naples.
Don is also a designated Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), with experience and qualifications to assist the 50-plus market in housing sales and purchases. He has deep knowledge to help his clients transition to various senior housing options whether empty nesters now downsizing or transitioning to active adult communities focused on the golden retirement years. Don understands the emotional demands and stress a move can have on a 50-plus client and seeks to minimize them with patience and communication throughout the process.

Paul and I came down from NH for a weekend in August with the goal of finding a home and closing on it as quickly as possible. We met with Don and Robert upon our arrival in Fort Myers and they laid out an aggressive plan for house searching that could only be accomplished through precise planning and coordination. Don took us on planned house tours over the span of Friday and Saturday seeing current and new construction.
By Sunday morning we had it narrowed down to two houses and quickly made an offer on our first preference. We reached an agreement with the sellers while heading back north. Closing took place the last week of September and we officially moved in on October 1st. The entire process went more smoothly than we could have ever imagined. Thanks to Don for finding us the right home in paradise. Kudos to the entire Nardi team for a job well done and perfectly executed. We have many northern friends that will eventually be joining us in Florida and Don and the Nardi team are being touted to all as the "go to guys". Thanks so much for everything you have done.

I highly recommend Don Bahash as a great realtor. He was very compassionate as my husband had terminal cancer and we needed to sell our beautiful villa and move into a smaller apartment. He helped us with everything - even recommending a mover that we could trust. When I was locked out of the villa's garage, I called him late at night to open the lock box so I could get into the house. The movers left my husband’s rifle and some personal property that we forgot. Believe me I have had many home sales but this was my best experience.
He did things above and beyond even going to the store to get batteries for the garage door opener. Thank you Don!
